The Nets say an MRI on Tuesday showed no broken bones. Harris is undergoing treatment and will be out at least a week and possibly longer.
Harris was injured in a fall Sunday in Los Angeles after being fouled by the Clippers' Marcus Camby on a layup attempt. He missed Monday night's game in Denver.
The Nets (28-39) have lost four straight games and have slipped two games behind Milwaukee and Chicago for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. New Jersey has 15 games to play.
Harris is averaging a team-high 22.6 points, 7.0 assists and 1.8 steals.
