--Before the season, one of the Nets' main concerns was finding minutes for all of their big guys. There were seven bigs, and playing time looked as if it would be a headache. That problem has long since become moot.
F/C Stromile Swift only debuted on Saturday. C Josh Boone will miss his ninth straight game on Sunday. F Eduardo Najera has played 60 minutes. So coach Lawrence Frank is in a bit of a "told you so" mood. "Over 82 games, that's what happens. Very rarely do you keep everyone healthy," Frank said. "That's why a lot of times when the answer is things have a way of working out, things have a way of working out."
--The Nets sent C Josh Boone home from their road trip because he had stopped showing any progress in his rehab of a left ankle bone bruise. Boone is expected to have an MRI on Monday.
"Obviously, we wouldn't have sent him home if we thought he was ready," coach Lawrence Frank said. "Traditionally, we don't travel injured players unless they have a chance to play, and since he's going to have no chance to play, get him back home."
