New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2009-11-13

New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2009-11-13--The lineup has been changing game-to-game, based on availability of players and matchups.

ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rafer Alston, Shooting guard Terrence Williams, Small forward Trenton Hassell, Power forward Josh Boone, Center Brook Lopez. Bench -- Forward Eduardo Najera, Forward Bobby Simmons, Center Sean Williams.

--G Terrence Williams received his first NBA start Wednesday against the Sixers and responded with his second double-double of the season, a 10-point, 12-rebound performance.

"It doesn't change (anything). It's basketball at the end of the day. My mindset is to get a win, just the same as everybody else," Williams said. "It's just that now I'm with the first group that goes out trying to get the first couple points on the board."

--F Josh Boone made his second straight start at power forward and responded with a six-point, eight-rebound night in 28 minutes. Boone began his career as a backup center but has shown a desire to play both power positions.

"The biggest difference is defensively, because when I'm guarding the four I'm guarding perimeter guys a lot versus guarding post up guys," Boone said. "Based on my body type I'm more of a four man. I'm a little shorter (and) I'm not as big as a lot of the centers in the league."

--G Courtney Lee sat his second straight game Wednesday with a groin strain and said he may play Friday, but only is he feels 100 percent.

"If I feel something else or I feel it not going away or I feel the same pain coming again I definitely won't play," said Lee, who would be returning to Orlando where he played as a rookie last season.

--G Courtney Lee left Friday's game early in the third quarter with a left groin strain and sat Saturday then Wednesday. He hopes to play Friday.

--F Chris Douglas-Roberts is day-to-day after being diagnosed with swine flu. He has missed three games and could return Friday.

--F Yi Jianlian is out with a sprained right knee. He is expected to miss anywhere from 3-5 weeks.

--G Devin Harris missed his sixth straight game Saturday with a strained right groin. He is doing light shooting but there is no timetable for his return. Based on his estimate, he will miss another week at least.

--F Jarvis Hayes remains out since straining his hamstring in the season opener. He is doing shooting and is likely out another week.

--G Keyon Dooling (hip surgery rehab) underwent an arthroscopic procedure after last season. He is working his way back and has targeted mid-to-late November for his return.

--F/C Tony Battie has been fitted for a brace on his right knee after receiving a second opinion. There is no timetable for a return. He has been out since preseason.
