ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Chris Douglas-Roberts, Small forward Trenton Hassell, Power forward Josh Boone, Center Brook Lopez. Bench -- Guard Rafer Alston, Forward Terrence Williams, Guard Courtney Lee, Forward Bobby Simmons, Center Sean Williams. PLAYER NOTES: --C Brook Lopez recorded his seventh double-double, second in a row and third in four games Friday at Sacramento when he scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. But in addition to the Nets' 16th straight loss, the "lack of urgency" shown by the team disturbed Lopez. "We can't let that happen," he said.
--C/F Tony Battie is getting closer to a return and feels he could be playing by next week. Battie had a good workout Friday without the brace he has been using to support his right knee. "I'm definitely coming down the homestretch," said Battie, who has been out since preseason.
--G Devin Harris returned to the starting lineup Friday in Sacramento for the first time since Oct. 30. Harris missed 10 games with injury and then came off the bench for three games. After a sluggish first half, he sparked a Nets comeback with his penetration. "The best way to cut into a big lead is by getting to the line," said Harris, who scored 25 points and shot 17 free throws.
