ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Courtney Lee, Small forward Chris Douglas-Roberts, Power forward Josh Boone, Center Brook Lopez. Bench -- Guard Keyon Dooling, Forward Terrence Williams, Guard Rafer Alston, Forward Trenton Hassell, Forward Bobby Simmons, Center Sean Williams. PLAYER NOTES: --G Keyon Dooling, in his second game back from hip surgery rehab, found himself in a strange alignment -- with two other point guards for stretches of Sunday's loss in New York. "I just like to play, so I don't care if it's with three guards or three centers," said Dooling who scored nine points. "The thing is that offense will only be as good as our defense."
--G Chris Douglas-Roberts figured to have a big game. Four games ago, he scored five points. Then he came back with 24. On Friday, he had eight. So on Sunday, he went off for 26 in a loss to the Knicks. "If I'm coming off a game where I don't get into double-figures, I come with a mentality to be more aggressive because I know my team depends on me to score," Douglas-Roberts said.
--F Terrence Williams has struggled with his shot all season -- he was 0-for-5 Sunday, making him .340 on the season and 11-of-44 (.250) in his last six games. But teammate Devin Harris has a plan to help the rookie. He knows he must "continue to work with him. We'll find out what he does well and try to get him help, and try to get him to give as much as he's got."
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Eduardo Najera is out indefinitely with a sore lower back. He has missed eight games.
--F Yi Jianlian, out since Nov. 2 with a sprained right knee, was set to return as early as Sunday. But he suffered a 50-stitch gash in his upper lip and is out for another week.
--F Jarvis Hayes remains out indefinitely since straining his hamstring in the season opener.
