ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Courtney Lee, Small Forward Chris Douglas-Roberts, Power forward Josh Boone, Center Brook Lopez. Bench -- Guard Keyon Dooling, Guard Rafer Alston, Forward Trenton Hassell, Center Sean Williams, Center Tony Battie. PLAYER NOTES: --C Brook Lopez was on his way to a career night -- 19 points at halftime -- but he managed just two points in the second half of Wednesday's home loss to the Warriors. Lopez denied the Warriors were more physical, but they did double-team him and forced him into six turnovers.
"They just like to slap down and play passing lanes," said Lopez, who still finished with his 11th double-double, 21 points, 10 rebounds.
--G Devin Harris took a poke in the eye in the first half and was forced to temporarily leave the game. But he returned and had a strong second half, finishing with 19 points.
"The poke in the eye was a little distraction, but by the second half I was back to my old self," Harris said.
--F Josh Boone, who began last season as the starting center, is growing more and more accustomed to the power forward spot, where he admits his 6-10 frame is better suited. In 13 of his 14 starts at the four (he played just five minutes in one start), Boone has averaged 7.4 rebounds, including three games with double-figures.
MEDICAL WATCH:
