New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2009-03-28

New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2009-03-28
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Trenton Hassell, Power forward Ryan Anderson, Center Brook Lopez. Bench -- Guard Keyon Dooling, Forward Jarvis Hayes, Forward Bobby Simmons, Center Josh Boone, Guard Chris Douglas-Roberts.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Ryan Anderson made his 20th start of the season, moving from out of the rotation back to starter. Anderson replaced the hideously struggling Yi Jianlian and shot just 2-of-7, but he supplied energy and had nine rebounds.

"Ryan gave us a good effort on the boards. He missed some jump shots, but rebounding-wise he brought a lot of energy," said teammate Devin Harris.

--F Jarvis Hayes established a season high 19 points Friday against the Lakers with 19 points, 11 of them in the fourth quarter. Hayes now has four double-figure games in his last 11 games, but three in the last four.

--C Brook Lopez recorded his 14th double-double Friday when he posted 16 points and 10 rebounds against the Lakers in a 103-95 defeat. Lopez is now just one double-double away from tying Mike Gminski's team record for rookie centers.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Eduardo Najera is through for the season after undergoing successful sports hernia surgery Mar. 13.
