New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2008-03-31

New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2008-03-31
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Richard Jefferson, Power forward Nenad Krstic, Center Josh Boone. Bench -- Guard Marcus Williams, Forward Bostjan Nachbar, Center DeSagana Diop, Guard/Forward Trenton Hassell, Forward Sean Williams, Forward Stromile Swift, Guard Darrell Armstrong.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Devin Harris is in his fourth season in the NBA and he has collected five double-doubles -- all of them this season and three of them with the Nets since March 15. Harris had 19 points and a then-career high 12 assists vs. Utah March 15; he had 16 points and 13 assists, also a temporary career high, vs. Denver March 21; and he had 22 points and a career-high 15 assists vs. Indiana March 26.

--F Bostjan Nachbar is playing with a sore back, something that needs rest, but there is so little time remaining, he'll wait until the summer. Nachbar is struggling -- in his last three games he has shot 4-of-16 (.250).

--G Vince Carter is continuing his late season surge. Carter scored 32 points Saturday against Phoenix, his ninth straight game of 20 points or more and his second consecutive 30-point-plus game. It was the third time this season Carter rang up back-to-back 30-pointers.

--F Nenad Krstic started superbly Saturday against the Suns, scoring 10 points in the first 5:34. But Krstic got into foul trouble against Shaquille O'Neal and finished with 12 points. "Tonight was different (than normal foul trouble)," said coach Lawrence Frank. "Who do you want to put him on, Shaq or Amare (Stoudemire)?"
