New Jersey Nets Roster Report 2008-04-04
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Richard Jefferson, Power forward Nenad Krstic, Center Josh Boone. Bench -- Guard Marcus Williams, Forward Bostjan Nachbar, Center DeSagana Diop, Guard/Forward Trenton Hassell, Forward Sean Williams, Forward Stromile Swift, Guard Darrell Armstrong.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Bostjan Nachbar is an unrestricted free agent after the season, and he reiterated his desire this week to stay with the Nets. "That's been my wish since the end of last season. I'm been hoping I can stay here because it's a comfortable situation for me I know my role," Nachbar said.

--G Vince Carter in less than four full seasons needs 45 points to move past Kerry Kittles (7,096) and into fourth place on the Nets' all-time scoring list. Carter has 7,062 points. First all time is Buck Williams with 10,440 points. Second -- and still rising -- is Richard Jefferson with 8,359, while third is Jason Kidd (7,373).

--G Marcus Williams, firmly entrenched as Devin Harris' backup, had one of his worst games of the season Tuesday. He took three shots, all 3-pointers, and missed them all. He also had two turnovers and struggled defensively in 17 minutes. It was Williams' second scoreless game in his last five.

--C Josh Boone had his first stat line without a double-digit total, points or rebounds, in seven games Tuesday when he scored eight points and took eight rebounds in 35 minutes against the Sixers. Boone however tied his career high with four blocks. In his previous six games, he averaged 12.5 points, 11.3 rebounds.

INJURY UPDATE:

Bostjan Nachbar is playing despite an inflamed disk in his lower back.
