ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Devin Harris, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Richard Jefferson, Power forward Nenad Krstic, Center Josh Boone. Bench -- Guard Marcus Williams, Center DeSagana Diop, Forward Bostjan Nachbar, Forward Stromile Swift, Guard-Forward Trenton Hassell, Forward Sean Williams, Guard Darrell Armstrong.
PLAYER NOTES: --F Richard Jefferson is assured of the highest scoring season of his career, points-wise. Jefferson scored 21 points Tuesday in Chicago to give him a season total of 1,537 in 67 games. Jefferson's previous best point total came in 2005-06 when he scored 1,521 in 78 games.
--G Devin Harris suffered a sprained right ankle in Chicago Tuesday -- but he insists it is nothing like the left ankle sprain he suffered earlier this season. That first injury cost him 14 games -- 10 with the Mavs, four with the Nets. And he needed crutches immediately with the first injury. This time he walked out of the arena.
--F Sean Williams finally reached his 100th block, making him the third Net rookie ever to reject 100 shots. Williams has 101 after getting two in Chicago Tuesday and could conceivably set a Net team record for rookie rejects. He joins Kenyon Martin who had 113 blocks in 2000-01 and Mike Gminski who had 100 in 1980-81 as the only Net rookies with 100 blocks.
--F Bostjan Nachbar, after two strong showings where he was a combined 11-of-21 with 37 points in Nets wins, had perhaps his worst shooting night of the season: 1-of-10 with four points Tuesday at Chicago. Nachbar had only two games where he failed to make a single shot: 0-of-4 on Feb. 20 and 0-of-2 on Mar. 2.
INJURY UPDATE:
G Devin Harris is day-to-day with a sprained right ankle suffered Tuesday.
F Nenad Krstic missed his second straight game Tuesday with a flu bug. His status for Tuesday at home against Atlanta was uncertain.
