The Nets open their home schedule against Vince Carter and the Eastern Conference champion Magic on Oct. 30, after starting the season on the road in Minnesota Oct. 28. And they could open with a new marketing plan for ticket sales: "See the Nets live, because you won't see them on national TV."
The Nets were shut out by ESPN, TNT, ABC and PBS for national games (although they have two on NBA-TV). So the appetizing games on the home schedule include Carter's visit, Jason Kidd's Dec. 2 appearance with Dallas and Richard Jefferson's first time in as a Spur on March 29.
